Job Summary:

As the AF DCGS Intelligence Programs and Systems Requirements Support, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical and analytical expertise to facilitate the operations, training, testing, and fielding of AF DCGS systems and programs. Your responsibilities will include identifying, evaluating, and integrating emerging technologies, preparing requirement descriptions, collecting warfighter feedback, and supporting operational test and evaluation. Additionally, you will contribute to the formulation of policies, schedules, and training recommendations, and provide expertise in areas of AF DCGS and related intelligence programs.

Essential Functions:

  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies and non-material solutions within AF DCGS and intelligence programs.
  • Prepare requirement descriptions to maintain current and accurate operational capability descriptions, supporting operational capacity requirements management for the AF DCGS WS.
  • Collect warfighter feedback on existing requirements and propose changes based on input, technological advancements, or emerging capability gaps.
  • Develop and maintain requirements roadmaps in collaboration with the system program office (SPO) and ACC/A52D Weapon System Team, overseeing existing operational requirements.
  • Support SPO requirement decomposition activities and subsequent system development, advocating for operational warfighter needs.
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding IC, Joint, and service GEOINT or SIGINT TTPs, architectures, processing, platforms/sensors/data links, and other related issues.
  • Support operational test and evaluation, compatibility, interoperability certification, certification testing, and architecture and modernization planning.
  • Assist in formulating policies, schedules, cost analyses, training recommendations, operational tactics, techniques, procedures, technology solutions, sustainment requirements, and logistics solutions for programs supporting AF DCGS operations.
  • Attend various AF and ACC meetings and forums related to sensor tasks, system integration, and life-cycle sustainment, providing advice on ongoing weapon system activities.
  • Integrate varying aspects of capability-based operational requirement development, planning, PPBES support, configuration management, training, exercise support, and test and evaluation.
  • Monitor compliance with regulations and instructions regarding ISR PED architectures, platforms, sensors, and C2 relationships, including materiel and non-material solution modeling and simulation, and cost analyses.
  • Knowledge Skills and Experience:
  • Security clearance: Top Secret (SCI eligibility required).
  • 10 yrs- In-depth understanding of AF DCGS and ISR force and capability fielding.
  • Analytical skills to assess emerging technologies and propose solutions.
  • Proficiency in requirement management and operational capacity planning.
  • Familiarity with IC, Joint, and service GEOINT or SIGINT TTPs.
  • Experience in supporting operational test and evaluation and architecture planning.
  • Ability to formulate policies, schedules, cost analyses, and training recommendations.

Education:

  • Bachelor?s degree in Intelligence related field
  • Master's degree preferred.
