The Institute for Higher Learning is Hiring a Salaried Full-Time Nanny Near Ann Arbor, MI

The Managing Partner of the Institute for Higher Learning in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is seeking a full-time Head Nanny to join her team. Family moved from New York City a few years ago and loves to explore a diverse range of exciting activities.

The Head Nanny will be responsible for the daily care and developmental stimulation of her 7-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son. In addition to being a team player able to work alongside other household staff, the ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • Previous full-time experience as a nanny of similar-aged children
  • Current or former teaching experience is a plus
  • Recent college graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Fun, warm, loving, engaging, active and full of energy
  • Dependable, flexible and proactive are a must
  • Non-smoker and COVID vaccinated
  • Clean background check and clean driving record.

The Head Nanny’s schedule during the school year will be Monday to Friday from 2:00pm-8:30pm as well as one weekend day from 7:30am-8:30pm. There will be extra coverage days that will be necessary, such as sick days, no school days, half days of school, school vacations, holidays, and travel days. Meanwhile, the schedule during the summer will be Monday to Friday from 8am-8pm.

$55,000-$60,000 annual salary with benefits.
