The Inn's Assisted Living Communities is currently searching Director's of Nursing and Assistant DON's in the Columbus area. We are dedicated to not only offering the best in senior assisted living but also dedicated in offering an environment where you will love to work.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • Plan and direct all functions of the nursing departments in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Administrative duties including but not limited to completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting as needed.
  • Evaluate nurses' documentation to ensure notes are informative, describe the care being provided, and reflect the resident's response to the care. Confirm that care is performed per Resident's requests.
  • Responsible for overseeing the Resident Assistants and Nurses schedule and hiring to ensure coverage for all shifts.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Hold a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university and have a current/valid state Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Supervisory/management skills
  • Experience working in a LTC environment.
  • Good critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills``Duties:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the organization
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ODH regulations
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of resident care
- Monitor and evaluate resident outcomes and quality improvement initiatives
- Manage the budget for the nursing department
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in nursing administration

Experience:
- Current RN license or LPN license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing leadership role
- Knowledge of ODH regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
