Role SummaryThe Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the guest experience is memorable and seamless; monitoring restaurant reservations and activity to determine proper seating and dining flow; responsible for assisting management in the direction and administration of all food and beverage outlets and will help provide coverage in service gaps as needed. Other duties are assigned.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities for this position are:

• Ensures the highest quality product reaches our guests and meets exacting standards.
• Conducts daily shift meetings.
• Assists in training new team members within their department.
• Assists management with motivating, developing, coaching and counseling team members to ensure the proper level of service is being provided to guests.
• Visits all tables during every guest’s meal to ensure guest satisfaction and consistent customer service.
• Notifies management of low inventory and recommends new inventory.
• Assists with labor controls and assigning duties to team members.
• Responsible for reporting any team member issues to management.
• Ensures a high standard of service efficiency, sanitation and training.
• Assists management with opening and closing responsibilities and assigning duties to team members; including overseeing dining room set up/break down and conducting a walk-through of the outlet.
• Ensures that all productivity and quality standards are maintained.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management and moves with a sense of urgency.

Required Qualifications

• Previous food service experience with the ability to perform multiple jobs within the restaurant.
• Previous management or supervisory experience is required.
• Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills and problem-solving skills.
• Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Certification.
• Flexible schedule including weekends & holidays.

 
Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills are strongly desired.
