JOB DESCRIPTION:-Confident and comfortable treating patients through the lifespan-Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and referral, including hospitalization, when necessary.-Uses all available resources and treatment, such as lab and radiological testing, appropriately and cost-effectively.-Completes EMR according to practice standards and closes charts within the appropriate time frame.-Is well versed in relevant outpatient medicine and diagnoses such as COPD, hypertension, diabetes, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:-Understand the mission and practice of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)-Comfortable in outpatient medicine and able to communicate effectively with a varied patient panel-BE/BC-Will accept new grads-Licensed in VA
