 PAY: $ 15.50/hr | TYPE: Part-Time |SHIFT: AM
Tuesday & Wednesday (2:00am - 6:00am)

Thursday to Saturday (3:00am - 6:00am)

Ramp Agents play a critical role in the safe and on-time transportation of airborne freight and U.S. Postal Service (USPS) mail products. As a Ramp Agent, some of your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all Quantem and customer safety standards are met and maintained
• Properly and safely loading / unloading freight & USPS mail products; including build up and breakdown of cargo pallets and freight containers
• Protecting freight & USPS mail products from elements, damage, and vandalism
• Driving / dispatching of drivers moving freight and USPS mail to / from gates
• Verifying upon receipt from customer shipment pieces, weight, dimensions, and airworthiness; verifying pieces and airway bill numbers upon delivery to customer

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
• Must pass all required pre-employment drug screening, background and clearance requirements, and successful completion of the required badging process
• The Inland Group of Companies maintains a drug-free workplace and, as such, all candidates and employees can expect to participate in our drug testing program.
• 3-year U.S. residency required for Postal clearance
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds in a safe manner
• Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and carry heavy items up/down jetway stairs
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
