Midnight Oil (moagency.com), strategically located in "the heart of Hollywood" in Burbank, CA, is an extraordinary creative, and specialty print production partner to the majority of theatrical and streaming studios, with relationships often measured in terms of decades, not years. We uniquely and conveniently combine our Studio and Print Production capabilities all under one roof in our 120,000 square feet facility, with an Amtrak stop and the Burbank Airport directly across the street. Position Summary: The Grand Format Finisher is responsible for applying high quality finishing to Grand Format jobs in the most efficient manner.

Work Location & Shift: This is a full-time onsite position out of our Burbank, CA site. Second shift, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Interact with the Grand Format print schedule and ticket accordingly
• Interact with Grand Format clients in a professional manner
• Produce quality finishing in the most efficient manner
• Must be able to perform various Grand Format finishing including cutting, RF welder, heat welder, UV coating, and grommeting
• Follow GF procedures for charging time & material
• Perform needed maintenance to the finishing equipment
• Finishing production areas need to be maintained in a clean and professional manner
• Performs additional duties as assigned

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills
• No direct experience necessary, although a willingness to learn and adapt to working environment is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency in any language (including ASL) preferred
• Ultimate client satisfaction mentality and approach
• Superb ability to communicate to various functional groups
• Proactive approach to identify and solve problems before they arise
• Exceptional coordination and multi-tasking skills
• Attention to detail with outstanding analytic skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
• Continually improving finishing skills and knowledge

Physical Requirements:

• Able to Exert force/lift up to 50 pounds at a time, and/or up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent Standing for prolonged periods of time
• Comfortable working within a loud environment, due to noise generated by machinery.

• Able to work additional hours and weekends as needed.

• Manual dexterity for repetitive work

The national pay rate for this role is $21.00/hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
