The Huntington National Bank is Hiring an In Store Assistant Branch Manager - Algonquin Near Algonquin, IL

As an In Store Assistant Branch Manager, you are responsible for the co-management of an in store branch under the direction of the in store branch manager. As a leader in our in store branch network, you will assist in driving all facets of sales, service and operations. You will motivate your team to achieve sales targets, acquire new consumer and business customers, initiate referrals to partners and deepen all existing customer relationships. Duties & Responsibilities: Achieves individual sales targets while developing a consistent business development and calling program. Part of a team that motivates, coaches and develops In-Store Branch colleagues to achieve sales targets, acquire new consumer and business customers, initiate referrals to partners, and proactively drive business both inside and outside of the branch. Garners resources required to support team. Leverages available tools and technology to drive sales and service. Active in community, and develops key business and community relationships. Refers customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships pursuant to OCR guidelines. Coaches, counsels, and makes recommendations on hiring, performance management, and salary adjustment decisions. Coaches the Team on all operational, security, risk and regulatory related policies and procedures. Develops a thorough understanding of branch sales, service, operations and financial performance. Demonstrates acumen in banking, investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, sales, sales leadership, customer service, process management, coaching, colleague development, communication and presentation. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year or more in a goal driven retail sales leadership role or a Bachelor's Degree. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and previous management experience. Ability to understand, drive and lead branch sales, service, operations and financial performance within the branch and digital channels. Demonstrates acumen in banking, sales, investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, sales leadership, customer service, process management, coaching and colleague development and presentation skills. Strong relationship building skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services. Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products. Ability to develop, influence, inspire and motivate colleagues to increase retention.
