The ideal Senior Project Manager can proactively manage all phases of their assigned projects to meet quality standards and satisfaction goals of our high-end clientele, within budget and on schedule. You will be responsible for multiple custom home projects at one time as a Senior Project Manager. This will entail project planning, resource and time management, creating benchmarks for labor resources, and maintaining the budget and scope of work for multiple projects. The Senior Project Manager ensures that all of the work is done on time and within the projected budget. You will also need to ensure that the construction project is compliant with current building codes. Strategic planning of material procurement and labor activities, along with the ability to foresee potential issues and manage labor and materials, to ensure timely project completion are a must.If you have custom home project management experience, we urge you to apply and potentially join our team!Senior Project Manager Responsibilities
  • Ensure that projects are built to requirements and specifications established by construction drawings, building codes, and clients.
  • Prepare a detailed schedule for each project to follow from contract signing to completion, and present a weekly update schedule of crews, subcontractors and all materials to complete the critical path of each project.
  • Create a detailed estimate of products and labor costs for each project, negotiating, and trade partner (subcontractor/supplier) buyouts, as well as managing purchase orders and budgets in a project management system to ensure costs are within, or below, budget.
  • Order supplies needed to complete the job. Arrange for and supervise all deliveries of materials on time, check and verify project bills.
  • Visit each jobsite daily or as needed to maintain a clean, safe project site and take any appropriate measures needed to protect jobs from elements or vandals.
  • Procure all inspections for our projects or verify our trade partners have requested those inspections before the next phase is allowed to proceed, or the necessary notice time has elapsed.
  • Procure final building and zoning inspections, occupancy permits and punch list of unfinished items for closing. Arrange final cleaning and trash removal and organize product and warranty information per job.
  • Achieve a high level of homeowner satisfaction regarding the servicing of all service needs of completed products.
  • Develop, maintain and communicate “Standard Operating Procedures” for each trade partner, supplier and all your critical processes related to custom home building.
  • Maintain a high degree of integrity in all communications and actions with architect, engineer, builder, selections coordinator, trade partners and clients.
  • Strive for no-defect construction.
Senior Project Manager Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of experience in project management within construction for a custom home builder. Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture is a plus. A skilled tradesman with exemplary project management experience may be considered.
  • Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Office and knowledge of construction management programs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Professionalism in manner and attire.
  • Valid driver's license as this is a field management position requiring daily travel from the office to construction sites.
  • Willingness to work as necessary to meet production milestones.

Senior Project Manager pay: $85,000-$110,000 plus bonuses
