The Hitch Group is Hiring an Electrical Designer Near Omaha, NE

Hello!

Thank you for checking out our posting! We have client in Nebraska looking to add an Electrical Designer to their team. They are using AutoCAD and Revit. This position is being offered as a contract to hire or perm, depending on the situation. Check out the information below and if you're interested, please reach out!

Duties:
- Design electrical systems and components for buildings, machinery, and equipment
- Create detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints using CAD software
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure design specifications are met
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements
- Perform calculations to determine electrical load capacities and wire sizes
- Develop layout designs for electrical panels, control systems, and power distribution systems
- Build and test prototypes of electrical components or systems
- Collaborate with manufacturers to select appropriate materials and components for projects
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including NEC guidelines
- Provide technical support during the installation and testing phases of projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as an Electrical Designer or similar role
- Proficiency in MicroStation, CAD, AutoCAD, Creo, Revit, or similar design software
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations (NEC)
- Familiarity with PCB design and layout principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
