In maintaining /updating quality records including database returns, corrective actions and preventative action you will be an integral component to the assurance of engineering protocols.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist in the creation of the First Article Reports and other deliverables required by the customersAssist in the development/realization of other improvement projectsMaintain Quality System in accordance with AS9100 StandardAssist production in their technical needs regarding electrical and mechanical units of measurementAssist in the testing new products and preparation of new product inspection/test reports deliverable to customersVisually inspect parts for cosmetic defectsProcesses and tests functionality of a part or productTest equipment to determine if a part functions properly and meets customer specificationsProperly record information for inspectorsInspect the final product made with raw materialsAbility to use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometer, optical in order to ensure that a part meets specificationsAbility to read and follow blue prints and schematics to determine the specifications of parts and materialsProficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance)QualificationsRequirementsCompliance with Department of Defense Requires US CitizenshipBA/ BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) is requiredKnowledge/ experience with Quality Systems (ISO9001/AS9100C)Advanced mathematical and analytical skillsFast and enthusiastic learner2 years experience in related fieldEffective communication skillsExtended knowledge of Microsoft Office SuitePhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 30 lbs., bending 10% of work activities, ability to stand 50% of work time and sit 50% of work timeAbility to use computer 50% of work timeOver the years, our company has developed several highly technical products and performed numerous consulting mandates.
