Part-Time High School Humanities Teacher, Valley Village

We are a private High School in the Valley looking for a part time Humanities teacher for Fall 2024:

Responsibilities:

- Teach up to 4 humanities classes during the morning hours.

- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to academic growth and personal development.

- Utilize innovative teaching methodologies and technologies to enhance the learning experience.

- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic progress and assignments.

- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and ensure continuity across grade levels.

- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and other school-related activities as required.

Requirements: 

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Humanities, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a high school setting.

- Strong knowledge and passion for humanities subjects, including but not limited to literature, history, philosophy, and cultural studies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to effectively manage a fast-paced learning environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

- Dynamic and self-motivated with a commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
