The Scheduling Coordinator at The Heritage Community, a residential treatment center for teens, plays a
pivotal role in managing schedules, coordinating events, and overseeing logistical operations. This role
ensures seamless communication and coordination among staff members, optimizes scheduling efforts to
meet program needs, and fosters a positive environment through organizing campuswide activities and
events. The Scheduling Coordinator also maintains compliance with regulatory standards, manages
time-off requests, and contributes to achieving organizational goals. This position requires strong
organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to upholding the highest
standards of professionalism and service within a dynamic residential treatment setting.

Scheduling and Coordination:
● Efficiently manage schedules for the Treatment Team, ensuring optimal coverage and support as
needed.
● Coordinate and schedule Academy Offsite, Elevate Activities, and campus wide events, fostering a
positive and engaging environment.
● Attend shift change sessions, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among team
members.
● Track overtime and absenteeism, providing insights and recommendations for effective staffing
management.
● Finalize schedules for Residential, aligning staffing with program needs and objectives.
● Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper staffing in Medical, Clinical, and other
critical areas.
● Assign staff to program transports, oversee logistics, and maintain efficiency in transportation
operations.
● Oversee compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies related to scheduling
and staffing.
● Manage time off requests and approvals, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with
organizational guidelines.
Event and Activity Coordination:
● Assist in arranging campuswide activities, ensuring effective organization and participation.
● Ensure special activity requests for larger activities are documented (approvals), processed, and
executed seamlessly.
Logistical Oversight:
● Coordinate program transports and medical runs, ensuring timely and efficient logistical
operations.
Communication and Documentation:
● Collaborate with the Treatment Team and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate clear
communication regarding schedules and logistical details.
● Maintain detailed and organized documentation of scheduling related activities, training sessions,
and compliance records.
Quarterly Goals:
● Contribute to developing and achieving quarterly goals for the program, aligning scheduling
efforts with broader objectives.
Additional Responsibilities:
● Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management to contribute to
the overall success of the team and organization.
● Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in handling new tasks, projects, or initiatives as they
