Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to medical professionals and ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Perform medical administrative tasks such as patient intake, scheduling appointments, and maintaining medical records
- Administer medications under the direction of a physician
- Conduct basic laboratory tests including phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Record vital signs and patient information accurately
- Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and general health topics
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical setting preferred

- Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) procedures
- Understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Coding experience or knowledge of medical coding principles
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Strong grasp of medical terminology
