**FULLY REMOTE POSITION**
The Headstrong Project Inc. is a non-profit mental health organization providing confidential, barrier-free, and stigma-free trauma-focused treatment to veterans, service members, and families connected to their care.

Currently operating out of 15 states plus the District of Columbia, The Headstrong Project (THP) connects clients to care via a national clinical partner network of trauma experts in private practice. THP offers a concierge client-therapist matching process and then pays for the first 30 treatment sessions. Position Description:
The Grant Manager is responsible for assisting the Revenue Major Gifts and Corporate teams with overall project planning, tracking, and execution. The Grant Manager works with prospects with the intent of identifying, cultivating, sustaining and growing the THP donor base to include foundations, corporations, and individual donors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
In coordination with the THP Revenue Major Gifts and Corporate Partnerships teams, design, research data points, develop and compose high-quality documents, narratives, proposals, and reports that leverage THP assets, optimize story telling, and create customized donor reports that assist in reaching fundraising goals.
Assist with the day-to-day management of grant proposals and reporting calendar ensuring that deadlines are met.
Proactively communicate all deliverables to other teams at the time of grant award.
Work with respective departments of THP to ensure that all grant applications and reports are reviewed and approved a minimum of two weeks before deadline submission dates.
Assist in the planning and execution of prospecting, vetting, and cultivation efforts.
Design, establish and maintain stewardship related documents and media records.
Lead grant writing and reporting efforts, collaborating with other team members as needed.
Maintain Google Drive as the primary repository of applications, standard grant documents, notes, and reports.
Updaterevenue databases (Instrumental, Salesforce, Seamless.AI) as accurate project management and pipelines of grant lifecycle (researching through reporting).
Update master grant template with program or organizational changes as needed.
Research and Qualify (IDQ) new funding leads to increase top of funnel prospects.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Database management skills in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
Knowledge of current developments/trends in area of expertise.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of grant funding policies and procedures and applicable local, state, federal and university regulations.
Knowledge of federal, state and/or community funding sources and mechanisms.
Ability to lead projects and delegate work.
Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities;
Project Management experience is a plus
Adaptable and flexible in an organized yet agile work environment
Ability to work collaboratively across teams
Confidant self-starter
Cause driven & mission focused
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree; A minimum of three years experience working with nonprofits with some experience working within a revenue development team
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Location: Remote locations within the United States
Compensation: Salary range for position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 and is commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package including comprehensive health, dental, vision and life insurance, 4 weeks PTO per year and 16 additional paid Military Leave Days for active military reserve members. Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account plans for health and dependent care, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match. Annual professional development stipend, monthly cell phone/internet reimbursement and initial equipment setup allowance provided. All benefits are eligible on Day 1 of employment.
