Job Overview:
Our ambulatory surgery center is seeking a Revenue Cycle Coordinator to oversee our on-site business office operation. This pivotal role ensures the efficient and effective management of insurance verification, compliance, surgical scheduling, financial oversight, and revenue cycle coordination in alignment with our facility's policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare business management, exhibit excellent leadership skills, and demonstrate a keen ability to address financial variances and support accounts receivable management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee business office personnel, ensuring adherence to facility policies and procedures related to insurance verification, compliance, and scheduling of surgical procedures.
• Financial Management: Manage and verify insurance coverage and collections, ensure timely deposit of payments, and oversee financial reporting and revenue cycle management. Work closely with the billing company to support accounts receivable management and address billing efficiencies.
• Compliance and Reporting: Serve as the facility's Privacy Officer, ensuring patient privacy protection. Oversee the preparation of compliance documentation for AAAHC inspections and manage charity care documentation.
• Documentation and Records: Coordinate necessary documentation to support billing, manage medical record maintenance, and oversee medical record request responses.
• Physician and Patient Liaison: Act as a liaison with physicians and their office personnel, ensuring efficient patient flow and communication regarding special-equipment needs.
• Technology and Environment Management: Troubleshoot computer issues, manage environmental control of the area, and promote a favorable image of the facility.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare business office setting, with a strong emphasis on financial management, insurance verification, and compliance.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, particularly AAAHC compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee a broad range of administrative tasks including financial reporting, revenue cycle management, and compliance documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and healthcare management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to serve as a liaison between the facility, physicians, patients, and external partners.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
