ROLE SUMMARY
The Graphic Designer is responsible for visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos. The responsibilities involve shaping visual aspects of websites, menus, product packaging, merchandise, and more. This person should be detail-oriented, organized, eager to learn, and have the ability to work within tight deadlines and sudden changes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate the day-to-day department activities to ensure projects are delivered at high quality, on time.
- Create artwork and design assets for print and digital distribution (social, email blasts and web)
- Curate materials for and create a variety of decks, including sales pitches, business development initiatives, event proposals, brand guides, among others.
- Develop and maintain branded collateral including menus, signage, packaging, and logos.
- Maintain and update websites.
- Complete projects by coordinating with external resources: art services, printers, etc.
- Work cross-functionally to manage projects and timelines.
- Contribute to creative strategy sessions by providing ideas and insights to build from
- BA/BFA in Graphic Design or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant design experience
- Strong graphic design skills and portfolio
- Strong Typography skills
- Web Design experience (Squarespace, WordPress, Shopify)
- Well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Keynote
- Creative with a strong eye for good aesthetic and problem-solving skills
- Must understand digital best practices particularly for web and social media landscape.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.

- Drawing skills
- Experience with preparing files for print and best practices.
