Summary: Responsible for set-up, preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment including pneumatic and electrical manufacturing equipment.

Essential Functions

• Set-up and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical manufacturing equipment.
• Keep equipment running and maintained, continuously improve existing equipment, assist in design and fabrication of new equipment.
• Must be able to use calipers, micrometers and work with blueprints. Repairs to machinery and general labor wherever needed. Strong mechanical back round a plus.
• Must have a strong attention to detail and an ability to work independently and with a team. Good communication skills and an ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively is a must.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Thorough knowledge and ability to read and interpret instructions, blueprints, schematics, manufacturer’s instructions, and service manuals.
• Able to work overtime as required.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, three years’ experience as multi-craft industrial maintenance technician

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift as much as 50 lbs. several times a day
• Must be able to stand for the vast majority of the shift

Experience

• 2 - 5 years: Experienced Machine Setup
