Senior Human Resources Manager - Automotive Manufacturing

As a Senior Human Resources Manager in the automotive manufacturing industry, you will oversee and guide all human resources (HR) activities. Your role will be critical in leveraging HR strategies to maximize employee engagement and achieve organizational goals. Key responsibilities include managing recruitment, development, compensation, and compliance within the framework of our company's policies and the regulatory environment of the automotive sector.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR programs and policies that align with our company's vision and objectives.
- Lead and coordinate the activities of the HR staff in areas such as employment, compensation, benefits, and training.
- Provide employees and candidates with detailed information on job roles, policies, compensation, and growth opportunities.
- Maintain and report on HR metrics to aid in strategic decision-making and goal tracking.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies.
- Analyze HR practices and suggest improvements to executive management.
- Forecast staffing needs to support organizational objectives.
- Manage company-wide HR initiatives, including compensation, benefits, training, organizational development, and succession planning.
- Prepare and manage the HR budget.
- Foster strong relationships with key community and business leaders.
- Ensure adherence to all internal systems and regulatory requirements.
- Undertake special projects and additional duties as needed.

Other Responsibilities:
- Champion the company's values and culture through HR initiatives.
- Maintain open lines of communication with headquarters to align HR practices.
- Support organizational events and activities as required.

Qualifications & Preferences:
- Bachelor s degree required; advanced degrees like a Juris Doctor or other relevant fields preferred.
- 15 18 years of relevant experience, particularly in the automotive industry.
- Preferred certifications: SPHR, PHR, or GPHR.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong understanding of market trends and external environments.
- Advanced analytical skills and experience in proposal development.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now and in the future.
