Summary:
The Guild School Teacher Manager will lead a team of teachers in developing their instructional capacities, curriculum (to include IEP related tasks), classroom management and teaching assistant supervision. In addition to providing high-quality instruction in their own classrooms, the Teacher Manager’s role is to build the capacity of teachers to deliver high-quality, effective instruction as well as supervise their teaching assistants. The Teacher Manager provides support to their team of teachers by providing 1-on-1 observation and coaching, as well as in-vivo modeling. In addition, the Teacher Manager will collaborate with the associate directors to develop and implement the teacher mentor framework for new and waivered teachers. Teacher managers may also be expected to take on school-wide education projects like student council or other initiatives.
