Green Season is a full-service, award-winning, entrepreneurial landscape company in metro Atlanta that is offering an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate professional to join our growing team. We are seeking highly professional and skilled Irrigation Maintenance Technicians. The Irrigation Maintenance Technician will be responsible for overseeing various irrigation and landscaping maintenance contracts on high-profile commercial properties in Atlanta and surrounding cities.

The technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, test, inspect, program & repair. Assist with the wiring, mounting, and setup. Possess knowledge of electronics, computer programming, and network administration, circuitry, and technologies related to these systems. Some knowledge of local and national codes is a plus. Travel to different job sites as needed and respond to emergency service calls as necessary.

Must be able to climb ladders and tolerate heights reaching a minimum of 14 feet. Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep work truck clean and organized. Manage inventory and tools for each job to assure proper parts and tools are on hand. Tools are provided. Keep job site clean. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Establish and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, quality of service, and long-term relations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to work overtime as required.

The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 years of landscaping irrigation repair experience, eagerness to learn additional
• Understand basic pipe sizing and irrigation design
• Ability to inspect properties and generate reports to ensure the proper service
• Attention to detail with an eye for safety hazards
• Good organizational skills with the ability to work alone
• Strong communication skills and teamwork is essential
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair commercial/residential irrigation systems
• Strong work ethic/self-starter
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
