Guest Services Associate (part-time)
The Guest Services Associate reports to the Guest Services Manager and the Guest Services Assistants. Guest Services Associates are among the first faces to greet our guests and create the first impression of the Greensboro Science Center. Therefore, excellent communication skills and work ethic, along with multi-tasking skills, are required. As the Greensboro Science Center is open to the public 360 days each year, Guest Services Associates are required to be available for weekends, weekdays and holidays. Hours vary but typically range from 15-25 each week.
Primary duties include:
- Membership and ticket sales
- Operating a point-of-sale cash register
- Conveying accurate information to the public
- Data entry and attention to detail
- Answering phones
- Assisting guests
- Carousel operations
- Facilitating group visits by helping with group check-in
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
