Position: Buyer/Manager

Department: Retail

Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)

· Buying merchandise for respective locations

· Commitment to follow and balance a budget

· The ability to lead and motivate several staff according to company and department policies and procedures

· Ability to make decisions and adapt to change

· The ability to set goals and complete them

· The natural ability to anticipate Guest needs and staff needs

· Excellent organization skills

Secondary Responsibilities:

· Follow all company and department safety policies

· Teach staff product knowledge and selling techniques

· Ability to document and coach employee performance

· The ability to take direction and constructive criticism from supervisor

· Knowledge to create a vision to set-up a shop and display merchandise in an appealing manner

· Ability to demonstrate teamwork within respective areas, department and company

Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days)

· 5 to 6 days a week, 9am to 6pm. Traveling required (24 hours), shifts and days vary according to the needs of the shop.

Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)

· 3 to 5 years leadership and management experience

· 3 to 5 years Retail buying experience

Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)

· High School Diploma

· Retail management training preferred

Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)

· Good written and verbal skills (purchase orders, coaching forms, memos, documents, interacting with guests, staff, retail vendors, retail control/accounting and salesman)

·

Technical Requirements:

· Able to operate and understand the POS system

· Knowledge of Retail Accounting procedures
