Position: On Course Snack Bar Attendant Department: Golf Club

Primary Responsibilities:
• Sell refreshments at the Golf Halfway Houses, Snack Bar and from Beverage Cart
• Prepare food and beverage items for sale and consumption when assigned to Halfway House and Snack Bar 
• Meet and greet guests
• Read and analyze starter sheets 
• Know the courses and be able to assist anyone on the courses
• Know where to get information needed
• Stocking and keeping track of inventory
• Use Point of Sales computer system
• Clean and maintain facilities]
• Make change

Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days)• 10 hours per day in season, weekends and holidays required

Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)• Public relations experience
• Food and beverage preparation and service experience preferred

Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)• Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond accordingly
• Communicate effectively with guests and staff
• Ability to give and receive accurate information from guest, rangers, professional staff, and starters in a timely manner

Technical Requirements: • Operate P.O.S (Point of Sale)
• Possess basic math skill to include making change in a timely manner
• Knowledge of the game and etiquette of golf preferred

Required Supervision: (Reports to, Supervision provided, number of people to supervise)• Must be able to work independently

Other Requirements:• Able to problem solve and remain calm under pressure
• Must be able to adapt to change
