The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Delaware Park is currently seeking a RN Med Nurses, new graduates welcome!

* Full-time or part-time

* Day, evening or night shift

Registered Nurse RN Duties:

* Uses nursing judgement and knowledge of gerontological nursing to set priorities and make decisions.

* Meets nursing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.

* Implements physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.

* Performs standard nursing treatments and observes resident for desired and unwanted effects.

* Assess & implement Residents’ care plans when conditions warrant a change as necessary.

* Completes care plans and other documents as assigned.

* Complies with the confidentiality of all resident information as per HIPAA and corporate guidelines.

* Supervises, directs and/or provides resident care when assigned.

* Establishes personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons as a representative of the facility.

* Provides support to patients, friends, and families.

* Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests.

* Resolves patient needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.

* Maintains documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records.

RN Requirements/Qualifications:

* Must have an active / unrestricted NYS Registered Nurse License

* Should have excellent clinical assessment skills

* Ability to make good independent decisions

* Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

* Long-Term Care Experience Preferred but not required

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
