Job Description – Assistant Teacher
Classroom Responsibilities
? Helps maintain classroom organization and routine by assisting the team in ways specified by the classroom.
? Sets up activities/Cleans up all activities
? Creates and Implements curriculum into the classroom
? Assists with meal preparation
? Assists with Toileting/Diapering routine
? Follows the Opening and Closing Classroom Procedures
? Attends a minimum of three center-wide family/staff events
Weekly Curriculum Tasks
? Completes Observation Journals.
? Conducts daily challenges (preschool only)
? Engages in Center weekly team meetings with Program Specialist
? Participates in weekly Tuesday tools
Monthly Curriculum Tasks
? Confirm curriculums match works on shelves.
? Submit Original Lesson Plans.
Protect, Promote, and Support the Rock and Roll Daycare Brand
? Understand and support the Internal Quality Assurance Review.
? Know about and be able to explain new products, procedures, and equipment processes.
Communication
? Consistently promote Rock and Roll Daycare’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
? Use Transformational Leadership in communication.
? Participate in meetings, training, and conferences as requested.
? Perform other duties as requested by the Center Director.
Reporting
This position reports to the Center Director.
