Prince William County Public Schools is Hiring a TEACHER ASSISTANT (GRANT FUNDED) Near Woodbridge, VA
An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
6.5 hours per day
This assignment is funded through temporary funding under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) and ARPA funding for the position is not expected to extend beyond June 30, 2023. This assignment shall be null, void, and unenforceable, or may be revised, should the School Board fail to receive or continue to receive funds under ARPA or other sources, which, in its sole opinion, are sufficient to fulfill its obligations.
Candidates for this position must be Highly Qualified through one of the following:
- Have obtained an Associate's degree, or higher from a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education, documented through transcripts; OR
- Completed a minimum of 48 college credits from a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education, documented through transcripts; OR
- Passed the ParaPro assessment with a minimum score of 455. Documentation of test score must be submitted.
Hiring Range: $21,553 - $33,094/year ($17.64 - $27.08/hour)
