Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs for industrial automation systems
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing PLC programs to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement control systems for new projects
- Siemens Simatic Step 7 Pro, Siemens 5050 Workshop, Emerson PAC Machine Edition - Proficy
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams regarding PLC programming and operation
- Document all programming changes, updates, and modifications for future reference
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in PLC programming techniques
Requirements:
- Strong background in industrial maintenance with mechanical knowledge
- Proficient in programming logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS)
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and wiring diagrams
- Experience with E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) work is highly desirable
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating or modifying electrical schematics
- Ability to detect, diagnose, and troubleshoot PLC program issues effectively
- Excellent customer service skills to provide support to internal teams
