```Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the daily operations of our bakery. Duties: - Assist with food preparation, including measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and preparing fillings - Operate kitchen equipment and machinery under the guidance of the head baker - Assist with baking and decorating various pastries, cakes, and breads - Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment - Follow recipes and ensure that all products meet quality standards - Assist with inventory management and stock rotation - Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their bakery orders - Handle cash transactions using the POS system Qualifications: - Previous experience in a bakery or food industry is preferred - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating quantities - Knowledge of kitchen equipment and baking techniques - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus If you are passionate about baking and have a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field, we would love to hear from you.
