The Friendship State Bank is Hiring a Branch Manager Near Bright, IN
- Ensures customer needs are professionally and efficiently met by staff
- Updates customer accounts with accurate information through proper channels
- Responsible for actions of the frontline
- Resolves conflict as needed by stepping in with customer interaction as appropriate
- Serves as primary contact for account opening
- Acts as second on call for after hour ATM trouble calls from ATM networks
- Accepts and accurately process customer transactions.
- Ensures mandatory reports are completed timely and accurately
- Processes incoming and outgoing currency
- Balances and is responsible for cash vault
- Develop, maintain and monitor sales call program for branch.
- Make sales calls with appropriate personnel in an effort to maintain customer relations and increase business
- Explains, promotes, or sells Bank products or services
- Maintains an acceptable level of deposit growth
- Upholds, follows, and enforces employment policies and procedures
- Manages and evaluates maintenance and security concerns
- Conducts thorough performance reviews in a timely manner
- Holds regular staff meetings
- Meets one-on-one with employees to provide feedback
- Attends meetings
- Ensures staff is professional and courteous to customers and co-workers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Maintains a working knowledge of all regulatory, compliance, procedural, and policy information
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to write professional correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Associate’s degree (A.A) from two-year college, university or technical school; or
- Three to five years related experience and /or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically has more than five years of teller experience.
- Must travel between branches as required.
- Must pass background check.
