BS/BA in Accounting MST desired
CPA Certification required
3 years of experience in tax preparation
Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple client projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organized and detail oriented
Working knowledge of tax laws
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Knowledge of CCH Tax software
Responsibilities:
Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards
Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and firm resources
Work directly with client to build and maintain relationship
Prepare complex individual and business tax returns as well as information returns
Perform detailed reviews of all types of tax returns and tax workpapers
Perform tax research projects
Communicate with clients and team members regarding project status, client opportunities, and other matters
Provide training, direction, and supervision to team
Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas related to industry specialization
Build new client relationships and maintain existing relationships
Manage group of clients
Engage in consulting and special projects as requested by management and clients
