Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician at The Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection is responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities and ensuring that they are in top condition for guests and employees. This is a full-time, hourly position in the hospitality and restaurant industry, located in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina. The role is an individual contributor with a competitive compensation rate of $21 to $23 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify and address maintenance needs
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Respond quickly and efficiently to guest and employee maintenance requests
• Conduct repairs and perform building upgrades as needed
• Keep maintenance records and update maintenance schedules
• Ensure the safety and security of the property by adhering to all safety and security protocols
• Assist in the maintenance of the hotel's landscaped areas
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Follow all maintenance procedures and standards set by the hotel
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Knowledge of basic building systems and tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of basic safety protocols and ability to follow safety standards
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
