Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Regional Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our property management division, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and functionality of properties within their designated region. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in maintenance, repair, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular inspections of assigned properties to identify maintenance needs and address issues promptly.
2. Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
3. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with property management to meet deadlines.
4. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or projects, ensuring quality work and adherence to budgetary constraints.
5. Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for property maintenance.
6. Conduct emergency repairs and provide after-hours support as needed.
7. Document all maintenance activities, keeping accurate records of work performed and materials used.
8. Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
9. Assist in the development and execution of property improvement plans to enhance overall aesthetics and functionality.
10. Foster positive relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
3. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor as needed.
7. Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a secure and hazard-free environment.
8. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in maintenance-related fields are a plus.
