As we are approaching our busy season we are looking for a Chef to join our culinary team. Candidates should know there way around the kitchen, have solid leadership skills, sharp knives, a highly developed sense of urgency and be able to work well under pressure all while having fun. Timeframe:

April-December…perfect position for those looking to work hard for 9 months and relax for 3 months.

The ideal candidate will:

• Must have proven banquet experience...both plated multi course and buffet
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to create timelines and follow through with said timeframe
• Ability to work independently as needed
• Ability to meet contracted event timelines
• Must work clean and be extremely organized
• Must be able to calculate product needs for both events and pool kitchen
• Basic butchering skills
• Must work well with other team members and direct staff with professionalism
• Reports directly to Director of Culinary Operations

MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

• Able to stand for 8 - 10 hours
• Able to lift/carry 40 lbs. regularly
• Ability to read, write & speak fluent English
• Ability to be nice and work well with others in a potentially stressful situation

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Culinary Degree
• ServSafe / Food Handlers Certification
• Fine dining experience
