The Erosion Company (TEC) is currently hiring Drivers . TEC is the largest and most experienced contractor in providing comprehensive erosion control services, specialty materials, forestry, and other site clean-up services to clients throughout the Southeast.
TEC offers excellent pay based on experience and great long-term career potential for top performers! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote safety culture among crew members.
- Load and unload materials as needed.
- Remove, fill, compact, and prepare the terrain.
- Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets using a variety of hand tools.
- Perform site clean-up and reload leftover materials after the job assignment is complete.
Required Qualifications :
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a valid drivers license and three years verifiable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Must pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen.
- Ability to understand / follow directions and take instructions in English.
- Physically able to walk, bend, squat, and lift to 50 lbs.
- Work under inclement weather conditions such as rain, heat, and cold.
- Must have prior work experience as a driver.
- Must have prior experience in operating small machinery such as Bobcat and other excavating equipment.
- Prior experience driving or ton trucks, with a 20 foot trailer attached, fully loaded.
- Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) a plus.
Work is available immediately for qualified candidates!
Overtime is available during peak season.
