Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate different types of vehicles. Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, box trucks, and vehicles with manual transmissions - Load and unload goods from the vehicle using proper lifting techniques - Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely delivery of goods - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any incidents or delays - Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods in a professional and courteous manner - Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries Experience: - Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred - Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards - Ability to operate different types of vehicles, including those with manual transmissions - Experience with refrigerated trailers is a plus - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Knowledge of local roads and routes for efficient navigation Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day - Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if required If you are a reliable individual with excellent driving skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this position.
