The Erosion Company (TEC) is the largest and most experienced erosion control contractor in the Southeast, and we are growing. TEC offers clients comprehensive erosion control, specialty materials, forestry, and other site clean-up/control services. TEC is currently hiring a Development Site Remediation Manager.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Site Remediation Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and management of erosion control and site remediation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, environmental engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully leading remediation projects to completion.

Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage all aspects of development site remediation projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
    • Conduct thorough site assessments to identify erosion control and remediation needs, taking into account environmental regulations and best practices.
    • Develop comprehensive remediation plans tailored to each site, incorporating erosion control measures, sediment management strategies, and revegetation techniques.
    • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and internal teams, to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
    • Implement quality control measures to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, budget analyses, and risk assessments, to senior management and clients.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in erosion control technology, and regulatory changes, and incorporate best practices into project designs and methodologies.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, environmental engineering, civil engineering, or equivalent field experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on erosion control and site remediation.
    • Strong knowledge of erosion control principles, sediment management techniques, and environmental regulations.
    • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and drive project success.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • - Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Professional certifications such as PMP, CPESC, or similar are a plus.
