The Position The World Language Department at The Episcopal Academy seeks to hire a Middle and Upper School French teacher. We are looking for a new colleague who is passionate about language instruction and is eager to share that enthusiasm with our students. Our new department member should be able to deliver engaging and effective lessons and be willing to collaborate and create with colleagues. Native or near-native fluency in French
Educational background in World Language Pedagogy and/or French
A student-centered pedagogical approach that embraces proficiency-based teaching and learning with an emphasis on making the curriculum relevant, practical, and meaningful
Well-versed in current pedagogies and genuinely enjoys working with students
Varied teaching tool-kit that includes various forms of authentic materials and assessment
Deep commitment to building and sustaining inclusive learning spaces
