The Elevance Health Companies, Inc. is Hiring an Application Architect Executive Near Indianapolis, IN

Position Title: Application Architect Executive Job Description: Creates architectural solutions that articulate the business context, conceptual design, and component-level logical design. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Recommends new technologies based upon business value drivers and return on investment; drives new technologies towards implementation and exploitation. Establishes overall systems architecture vision and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged; contributes to the holistic vision of Enterprise Architecture. Defines architecture standards and anticipate areas where architecture standards may need to be developed that are in-line with customer, IT and industry standards. Directs the construction of, and has accountability of architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture). Works with business units to translate business strategy into discrete requirements compatible with current technical architectures. Develop and maintain documentation of the IT components in our systems, covering how custom-built solution(s) or vendors´ product(s) are designed and built to integrate with existing systems and meet specific requirements in a consistent, coherent, and universal way to show and discuss the design and delivery of solution´s IT capabilities. Ensure current state meets customer needs and develop roadmaps that anticipate future requirements, address technical debt, and incorporate new, advanced technologies and capabilities. Accountable for ensuring the IT ecosystem interactions are optimized for maintainability, scalability, and interoperability. Identify areas where organizational spend can be most useful to advance program objectives or improve performance. Accountable for existing and proposed systems and recommend upgrades and/or modifications. Accountable for review of solutions internally and with Architecture Council. Create design and code prototypes for development team to adopt as standards. Contribute to the development phase with design and code reviews and assisting the development and testing teams as required. Minimum Requirements: Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Qualifications: Possesses strong critical thinking, problem solving, and effective decision-making abilities. Works independently on multiple issues or requests with conflicting priorities and timelines. Project planning, execution, and monitoring experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of communicating to a variety of audiences with varying technical knowledge. Ability to articulate objectives, problem statements and success criteria. Working knowledge of distributed microservices architecture with focus on below: Coding languages – Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, .NET Middleware – Web Sphere Liberty, Undertow Databases – Oracle Conceptual understanding of web stack/ETL components: Client Frameworks - Angular, React Middleware – Apigee, REST API’s, Informatica Cloud services – AD, key vaults, GAE CI/CD solutions – Bamboo, Udeploy, Jira, OpenShift, Kubernetes Working experience in cloud technologies and platforms – AWS, Genesys Cloud. Deep knowledge of customer journeys in healthcare, understanding emerging technology stacks, communication channels, digital trends on personalization & advanced analytics. Proven ability to deliver best in class Customer Service solutions. Ability to influence leadership on the need of a particular technological or business solution. Be an integral team player, which involves flexibility, cooperation, and communication.
