Part-time (.5) Technology Coordinator

Required:

• Capacity to manage technological systems, hardware, and software, including a small school network
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Organizational skills that will support systems and structures for school wide management and implementation of technology
• Familiarity with Apple products and Chromebooks
• COVID Vaccine

Preferred:

• Experience in managing state assessment systems
• Teaching license in any related area
• Knowledge of the computer science standards (K-8) and curriculum (ex: code.org, CSinSF, Common Sense Media, etc.)

Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to:

• advocating for students, families & staff in technology concerns
• assist families with technological needs connected with virtual learning
• interacting with constituents with professionalism & warmth

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain database of records for device information: device number, which classroom is the device assigned to, which student is the primary user of device, history of device issues, etc.
• Troubleshoot issues with both hardware and software
• Assist families with virtual learning when needed
• Work collaboratively with teachers and students

Compensation commensurate with experience

Job Type: Part-time through school year 10 days in summer
