The EADS Group, Inc., which began operation in 1955, is actively seeking a full-time Marketing Assistant to support our Central Marketing Department located in the corporate headquarters of our Altoona, PA office. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in operational marketing functions such as preparation of proposals, qualifications packages, maintaining marketing databases, conduct marketing research and assist with subconsultant prequalification.
The preferred candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field or at least 3 years of recent marketing experience in a corporate environment. Qualifications for the position include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Publisher, excellent written and oral communication skills, proven ability to work in an environment that handles sensitive, confidential information, high degree of attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Prior experience in responding to municipal RFP's/RFQ's and PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike Advertisements is desired.
