Our premier, fast-growing and well-respected pet service business includes grooming, self-wash, dog daycare, and retail. The ideal candidate must have outstanding communication skills as they will speak with customers throughout the day in person and on the phone. A professional appearance and presentation are also important as this person meets, greets, and services every customer who comes to our shop. They need to be an exceptional team player and have a passion for our brand and the industry. This position will also assist in cleaning throughout the shop.

Job Tasks for Our Client Service Specialist
- Demonstrate passion with customers and understand their needs.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with all tasks given as there are several times throughout each day where there can be multiple things going on at once (i.e., checking in and out dogs for grooming/daycare, phone calls, and maintaining self-wash suites).
- Scheduling appointments for grooming, reservations for dog daycare
- Understanding and actively selling retail products and services.
- Assisting self-wash customers with check-in, loyalty cards, and use of the suites, followed by cleaning them, so they are ready for the next customer.
- Handle walk in services which in life nail trims, ear cleaning and teeth brushing
- Taking ownership of tasks given and ensuring follow-through.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the shop.
- Assist and perform other miscellaneous duties special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements
- MUST have at least one year of experience working with animals in a vet clinic, pet retail store, non-profit organization, or like business. No exceptions.
Have two or more years of experience working with clients in a servicing/support role, with a high level of enthusiasm, and am very comfortable with multi-tasking, deadlines, and task prioritization.- Minimum of high school degree but prefer college degree (Associates, Bachelors or Masters).
- Ability to maintain happy and satisfied clients and have a good understanding of client service principles and practices.
- Eager to learn new products and industry-related information.
- Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate detail orientation and the ability to troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced environment.- Great work ethic, timely, patience, dependability, teamwork, leadership, communication/people skills required.
Technical Competencies
- Ability to learn new programs at a fast rate (i.e., Gingr)
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience social media platforms
