Treatment Coordinator

The dental team is currently seeking a Treatment Plan Coordinator who will be responsible for conducting patient financial consultations and supporting the dentist and the team in delivering high-quality patient care. The Treatment Plan Coordinator will be tasked with presenting dental and payment options to patients, liaising with the dentist on a regular basis, and assisting with various front desk office duties as assigned. At The Dental Team, our objective is to hire and develop leaders who can support the business needs of each dental office and foster a strong culture of camaraderie and support.

To apply for this position, you should be comfortable explaining treatment plans and discussing financial details with patients. You should also possess the ability to comprehend a diagnosis provided by the dentist, have excellent communication skills, and be familiar with basic and advanced dental terminology. Furthermore, you must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume office while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.

•2 years Front Office Dental experience with treatment plan presentation

•Knowledge and experience with dental treatment plans and insurance requirements

•Conduct patient interviews to understand the patient's oral health histories, concerns, and objectives; explain treatment plans to patients; address patient concerns and answer patient questions; assist patients in treatment priorities; and establish plans for scheduling and payments

•Conduct financial consultations with new and existing patients when new treatment plans are presented; understand the practice policies on working with dental benefit plans; and educate patients on available dental benefits

•Introduce new patients to the practice by reviewing health histories, explaining dental examinations, and describing other features about the practice

•Greet and check patients in and out before and after treatment; answer incoming calls (for example, new patient calls, emergency calls, appointment scheduling requests, records requests, patient follow ups)

•Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; analyzing and applying information from multiple sources; monitoring progress and results; and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities
