Part-Time Safety/Security Officers

The Dayton Art Institute seeks part time safety security officers to to ensure the protection and safety of its staff, members and guests, museum collections, properties and facilities from various and potential threats while delivering exceptional customer service. Strong attention to detail, communication, sound judgment and decision-making skills, and an ability to respond effectively in emergency situations essential.
Position requires standing for long periods of time, ability to climb stairs and lift/move up to 45 lbs. Previous security experience preferred with an emphasis on customer service; training provided. CPR and First Aid certification a plus. Multilingual a plus. Uniform shirts and jackets provided.

Work Schedule and Hourly Rate
Part-time position averaging 24-hours per week. Minimum of three shifts per week and must be available to work weekends and evenings. Hourly rate $16.00 - $17.00 based on experience. Double-time pay for holiday work. Third shift not available at this time.
