The Senior Living Sales Advisor is a professional sales representative reporting to the Director of Independent Living Sales. This position is responsible for hands-on sales to achieve occupancy goals for independent living. The Sales Advisor cultivates relationships with prospective residents and/or influencers through a person-centered sales approach. Time and attention allocations are approximately 90% direct sales and 10% administrative functions. Must present a professional image to prospective residents, influencers, visitors and the public. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Embraces and implements person-centered sales methodologies with prospects and/or influencers.
  • Actively participates and collaborates in daily and weekly planning sessions to strategize on pending prospects tours and meaningful and personalized next steps for prospects in the pipeline.
  • Meets goals, including but not limited to: time in the selling zone, tours, home visits, prospect case studies, creative follow-up, deposits and move-ins.
  • Visits prospective residents in their home using his/her vehicle for transportation.
  • Effectively and strategically responds to new inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Takes ownership of new inquiries and cultivates them with a consistent follow up cadence, to include scheduling and conducting tours, executing creative follow up and home visits.
  • Promptly enters and maintains data in Sherpa, according to best practices established by Consultants for The Davis Community.
  • Collects and processes all required paperwork for depositors.
  • Collaborates with Move in Coordinator to ensure a smooth move in process by providing relevant documentation, unit readiness and depositor requests.
  • Works with the Director of Independent Living Sales and the Executive Director to ensure that the Discovery Room is hospitable, model apartments are show ready and to resolve community first impression issues.
  • Participate in weekly sales call with the Consultants and one-on-one meetings.
  • Participates in sales meetings, including but not limited to, quarterly marketing meetings with Consultants to The Davis Community.
  • Participates and assists in the organization of events on-site as well as off-site.
  • Must be willing to work the hours required to complete duties of the position, including weekend and holiday hours as needed.
  • Create and sustain positive, productive and collaborative relationships with The Davis Community staff and Consultants.
  • Effectively communicates The Davis Community values to residents, families and visitors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Independent Living Sales.

Requirements

Education: Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field.

Licensure/Certification: None 

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Senior Housing Sales 

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
