Description
The DarkStar Group is seeking a Cyber Security Architect with a TS/SCI Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Chantilly, VA. Below is an overview of the project, as well as information on our company, our benefits, and our $25,000 referral program.
THE PROGRAM
The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. THE PROJECT

The Sponsor requires support related to providing technical analysis and support to cyber operations; which will entail expertise in analyzing and synthesizing collection to evaluate and extract relevant data, preparing written reports, providing briefings. The contractor should be knowledgeable of current cyber trends and be able to apply that knowledge to meet the Sponsor’s dynamic technical requirements.

The Sponsor also requires support to provide knowledge management support to further ongoing Sponsor initiatives which consists of organization, project management, development of technical materials, and coordination for focused web-based portals, websites and training. The contractor will provide web development and serve as the web content supervisor for the Sponsor’s website.
THE ROLE

• The Contractor shall provide technical analysis support and assistance to the Sponsor’s virtual and cyber operations.
• The Contractor shall review technical collection, evaluate and extract relevant data, and prepare written reports and briefings as necessary.
• The Contractor shall develop systems to support chats, process incoming and outgoing data, understand the implications of technology on security, and maintain documentation relating to the systems.
• The Contractor shall maintain knowledge of technical tools used and engage in continuous learning regarding new technologies to support Sponsor operations.
• The Contractor shall possess an advanced understanding of cyber operations to include knowledge of internet protocols, IP addressing methodology, and implications of geolocation, fraud detection, and spoofing techniques.
• The Contractor shall communicate complex technical concepts, describe technologies used and the rationale behind them, and discuss technical risks and mitigation strategies.
• The Contractor shall have the knowledge required to initiate vetting of meta-data and know how to report that in the context of vetting requirements.
• The Contractor shall collaborate with other departments and serve as a conduit to the technical analysis team in identifying opportunities for advanced technical.
• The Contractor shall read and respond to Sponsor communications.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience using social media platforms and an understanding of how these platforms operate, to include use of fraud detection techniques.
• Demonstrated experience in advanced cyber operations to include knowledge of internet protocols, IP addressing, and use of virtual machines and emulators.
• Demonstrated experience working to mitigate the impact of geolocation and fraud detection on operations.
• Demonstrated experience and detailed knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) related to cybersecurity, to include ICD 503.
• Demonstrated experience using critical thinking skills to innovate and resolve issues.
• Demonstrated experience securely working with and designing websites and an understanding of the risks and proper use of encryption technologies as well as commercial messaging applications.
• Demonstrated JOOMLA website development experience (release 3.10.11 or later) to include experience as an administrator.

Desired Skills (Optional)

• Demonstrated experience developing methods to harden Sponsor processes and procedures against security threats.
• Demonstrated experience working to execute Sponsor mission and working successfully and collaboratively with Sponsor elements and components.
• Demonstrated experience or knowledge of Sponsor documentation.
• Foreign language capability in Arabic, Swahili, French, Pashto, Russian, Turkish, or Somali.
• Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor’s mission and its unique mission requirements, tools and processes.
• Demonstrated experience with Sponsor Enterprise training systems and components.
• Demonstrated experience successfully navigating the Sponsor’s curriculum review and approval process.
• Demonstrated experience as a privileged user with access to Sponsor training systems and databases to create, load and edit technical content, manage enrollment and grant course credit.
• Demonstrated experience planning organization-wide meetings or training.
• Demonstrated experience with the requirements and procedures related to the Sponsor’s review board process, required for the approval of new networks, tools and systems.
• Demonstrated experience working with Sponsor’s commercial vendors to integrate and provide workforce access to commercial systems on Sponsor networks, as well as subscription-based data, software and tools.
• Demonstrated experience developing systems, processes or tools with direct application to the Sponsor’s unique mission.
• Demonstrated experience using Sponsor collaboration and communication tools.
• Demonstrated experience creating and distributing minutes or after-action items.
• Demonstrated experience in the Sponsor’s space, with specific systems, processes, policies and possessing supporting knowledge of operations.
• Demonstrated experience with Sponsor’s knowledge management databases and repositories.
• Demonstrated experience in the technical development of data analysis or knowledge management systems (applicable professional certifications).
