Summary of Position:
Accurately and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups, smoothies, pizza, and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
Make weekly specials and coordinate menus with director team
Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, Pizza oven, fryers, sauté burners, convection oven and refrigeration equipment.
deliver and maintain highest standards and consistencies of quality control, hygiene, health & safety, and customer service
Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.
Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assists others in closing the kitchen.
Ringing customer out for the food and beverage purchases.
Greeting customer as the come into the restaurant.
Directing staff.

observe size of food portions and preparation quantities to minimize waste
All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure complete satisfaction, including any special requests of specific dietary restrictions.
