Position Title: Facilities Maintenance Specialist
Position Reports to: Director and Assistant Director of Facilities

The Country Club is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to assist with the maintenance, repair and improvement of various Club facilities and equipment. Under the direction of the Facilities Director, performs maintenance and routine upkeep of building equipment and implements systems to prioritize, plan and deliver services to maintain Club facilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ability to diagnose and implement repairs to ventilation systems, HVAC systems, miscellaneous mechanical and plumbing related items.
• Assists with the administration of a comprehensive maintenance program including overall maintenance, planning, and scheduling of both long- and short-range maintenance projects.
• Can diagnose, trace, and resolve basic mechanical equipment, mechanical system controls, and plumbing problems.
• Performs maintenance, troubleshooting and routine upkeep of building equipment.
• Assist with maintaining energy management program for the property’s HVAC systems.
• Assist with inventory control for HVAC equipment used in the Club
• Prioritizes tasks to provide the highest level of quality for cost effective maintenance and repair and upkeep of Club facilities.
• Assists Facility Director in developing short- and long-term requirements for repair and maintenance, capital replacement.
• Completes other appropriate tasks assigned by the Director of Facilities

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work, stand, and walk on your feet for an 8-hour period
• Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or pull 50-lbs
• Ability to climb ladders regularly and to heights of 30-feet, work on roofs with proper safety equipment, operate a 45-foot boom lift after proper training.
• Ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, reach and perform repetitive motions for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to work outside during all types of temperatures and weather conditions.
