The Counseling Center of Wayne and Holmes Counties is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Billing Team!

GENERAL DUTIES:

This position is critical to the success of The Counseling Center’s revenue cycle by ensuring that all claims are properly paid in a timely manner for optimal revenue received.

• Processes all private insurance claims including researching denials and underpayments.
• Communicates with insurance companies and/or our clearing house to confirm denial reason and determine what is needed for the claim to be approved.
• Requires a sharp eye for details, an unwavering commitment to accuracy, with a mix of patience and ease while working with insurance reps, our clients, and our billing team.
• Work AR report to resolve past due balances.
• Answer patient questions.
• Has a commitment to quality and accurate work.
• Has basic knowledge of practices, procedures, and specifications in medical billing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
