Job Title: Superintendent
Full Job Description
Who we are:
- Manage and supervise construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams to maintain high-quality standards and project efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to resolve construction-related issues, interpret project drawings and specifications, and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor project progress, budget, and timelines, and proactively identify and address any deviations or challenges to ensure project success.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing all relevant safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections, and implementing appropriate safety measures.
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and regulatory agencies, to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, change orders, and project logs, to support project record-keeping and reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate should possess:
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- Working experience in the NYC public sector, with a strong understanding of city regulations, requirements, and processes.
- 8 years of experience with construction document control and compliance, including maintaining field and office records, and performing quantity computations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures, with a focus on quality and compliance.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, E-builder, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, lead by example, and drive project success through effective leadership and communication.
